McQueen's reign over?
"The first Alexander McQueen dresses to go up for auction since the designer committed suicide in February failed to sell in London this week.
Half the furniture sold, along with a cellulose mannequin — the top lot — for $2,150. The McQueen dresses were each expected to fetch about ten times that price: one gold sequin dress was valued at $17,939 to $26,905, while the other gown, made of peacock feathers, was valued at $14,949 to $20,923."
